Delete your DocNest data
DocNest (by DocNest, package com.docnest) has no separate DocNest account and no server that stores your vault. Your data lives on your phone, and optionally in your own Google Drive. You can delete it in any of these ways.
Option 1 — In the app (recommended)
- Open DocNest › More › Settings & Drive.
- Scroll to Delete all my data.
- To also remove your files and backups from Google Drive, tick Also delete the DocNest folder from my Google Drive.
- Tap Delete all my data and confirm.
This deletes immediately and permanently:
- everything in your vault: people, documents, files, tasks, bills, vehicles, applications and history
- tool data: loans, goals, scores and settings
- the encrypted emergency card
It also signs you out.
Option 2 — Without the app
- On the phone: Android Settings › Apps › DocNest › Storage › Clear storage, or uninstall the app.
- Google Drive: open drive.google.com and delete the DocNest folder (it contains your files and the
_Backupsfolder), then empty Trash. - Google access: remove DocNest at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Option 3 — Ask us
Email g2pramakrishna@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request". We don't hold your vault, so we'll guide you through the steps above. We'll also delete anything you've sent us, such as support emails, within 30 days.
What is kept
Nothing on our side. The only data our server receives is anonymous ad view and tap counts, tied to a random install ID that isn't linked to you. Clearing app data resets that ID.
